About the Agency
South Mississippi Regional Center is a program of the Mississippi Department of Mental Health providing care and support for people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. About the Position
WORK LOCATION: POPLARVILLE COMMUNITY HOMES, 1501 South Shivers St., Poplarville MS 39570 TITLE/PAY: Support Care Professional Team Lead $31,744.97 Annually ($15.26 per hour) SCHEDULE/SHIFTS: 2nd shift: 2:00 P.M. - 10:30 P.M. Plus 10% Shift Differential ($16.79) RESPONSIBILITIES: This is semi-skilled level work in the care and supervision of clients at a state mental health facility. First-level supervisory position accountable for professional program planning and management for treatment sub-unit or multiple residential locations. Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates individual habilitation or treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities. Supervises and works on the floor with direct care staff. Other duties may apply as assigned. SCHEDULE/SHIFTS: 1st shift: 6:00 A.M. - 2:30 P.M. ($15.26) 2nd shift: 2:00 P.M. - 10:30 P.M. Plus 10% Shift Differential ($16.79) 3rd shift: 10:00 P.M. - 6:30 A.M. Preferred Qualifications
Typically requires High School Diploma or high school equivalency, and 3-5+ years of experience. May require a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) designation. Agency Preferred Qualifications: Requires graduation from a standard four-year high school or equivalent (GED/Transcripts); AND 3-5+ years of direct care experience with a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
