Title: Support Engineering Data Specialist
Location: Ridley Park, PA
Contract: 12+ months
Salary Range: $50-55/hr on w2 without benefits
Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to interpret and analyze engineering data, reliability and maintainability data, supply chain data, and customer operations and support concepts. The successful candidate will develop support solutions and products, including support analysis, provisioning solutions, spares solutions, and maintenance, inspection, and support technical data.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3 years Aircraft Mechanic or Avionics experience (military, commercial, corporate, or general)
- 3 years Technical Writing or 5 years aircraft maintenance
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant certification
- FCC General radiotelephone operator license
- Experience with SLICWAVE
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-40051, S1000D, MIL-STD 1388, GEIA-STD-0007
- XML proficiency
- Lean Six Sigma certification
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide recommendations on product supportability and establish operation maintenance tasks and support resources.
- Develop support systems to achieve supportability requirements.
- Identify and analyze logistics support candidates from product definition and develop logistics support analysis records and reports.
- Determine spares provisioning requirements and establish recommendations for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft systems and/or components.
- Evaluate aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability to establish maintenance concepts.
