Position Overview
Support Operator(Washroom)
Starting pay $15.50 per hour.
Schedule is a 12hr shift 7am to 7pm (a 2 2 3 schedule).
Under the direction of supervision (i.e., supervisor and or team leader). Support Operator will inspect capsules for defects, operate Polisher, collect samples, and write legibly on all paperwork associated with the position.
Specific Responsibilities
Adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices
(cGMPs)
Fill out In-Process card, Equipment Usage card, Stack Log Use sheet, and Softgel Capsule ReInspection form
Write legibly on all paperwork and labels
Inspect trays and check the products for any defects (e.g., dark, or wide seams, air bubbles,
deformed shapes, fused capsules, color variation, and leakers)
Transfer the capsules, passing inspection, from the drying tray through a capsule grader located
on top the bin/box with a polyethylene liner
Set up and operate Polisher
Collect AQL, QC, and 100-count samples
Lift bins or boxes to build full skid. Requires lifting up to 40lbs
Clean Polisher, Inspection table, and surrounding area
Ensure production codes/lots are not mixed to prevent cross-contamination
Accumulate all rejects and place in appropriate container for accountability
Re-Inspect capsules that are on hold due to AQL failure or failure to match the Type Sample
Maintain clean work environment at all times, including and not limited to hygiene practices
General Responsibilities

· Requires regular attendance to perform essential elements as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work.
· Performs such individual assignments as management may direct.

The Candidate
Education, Experience, and Licenses:
High School diploma/GED required.
3 months experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Capacity to perform basic computer transactions.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in
English. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other
employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Standing for long periods, heavy lifting, bending with knees to perform tasks during
standard/assigned shift work hours.
