Responsibilities

Data Extraction and Analysis

  • Should be able to extract data from various sources by creating processes or using existing tool.
  • Should be able to create processes to profile, clean, manipulate and map the extracted data.
  • Candidate should be able to reconcile the data to make sure there is no discrepancy or missing desired data from the source after the extraction and clean up.
  • Candidate should be able to summarize, analyze the data and interpret results.

 

Reports and Visualization 

  • Build, monitor and maintain dashboard.
  • Use existing analytical tools available in different application and create, modify data visualization based on user requirements (i.e. Avatar KPI, API analytics etc).
  • Should inform stakeholders of any red flags looking at the data and help them making decisions.
  • Respond and review ad-hoc data requests. Create and format reports based on user request.

Software development

  • Develop the project scope
  • Develop internal project benchmarks related to the development, testing, and training.
  • Manage the project schedule
  • Participate in the analysis, development, and testing for project applications
  • Document findings, results, and modifications of project processes

Principal coordinator of new application implementations

  • Principal collaborator with third party vendors, interface engineers
  • Assist in the creation of the implementation master plan
  • Communicate and interface with internal resources for programming and support
  • Monitor completion of benchmarked goals
  • Communicate with senior department management on overall progress, and relate any potential problems that may exist during the course of development
  • Assist in the development of new documentation to support implementation

 

Company and project initiatives

  • Learn AltaPointe business processes and organizational needs.
  • Work with stakeholders’ business needs and provider analytical information and/ or solutions.
  • Participate in new project initiative and analyze impact on existing analytics and developed applications and communicate necessary changes and development.
  • Document all development in various systems and continue to maintain documentation.

 

Other IT duties as deemed necessary should include but not be limited to the following

  • Test and document compliance related to MIS policy and procedure.
  • Assist in system(s) evaluations with other IT staff.
  • Participate in IT team meetings and initiatives.
  • Participate in the strategic planning process for IT.
  • Participate on committees deemed necessary to support standards and accreditations.
  • Assist in providing training when deemed necessary.
  • Participate in Orientation Training for IT.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Administrative and other related duties as assigned

  • Actively participates in Performance Improvement activities.
  • Actively participates in AltaPointe committees as requested.
  • Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Treats consumers with dignity and respect.
  • Works in a cooperative manner with other AltaPointe employees.

Qualifications

BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

  • Microsoft Visual Studio .NET with emphasis in C#
  • Working with software configuration tools such as Team Foundation Services
  • Experience managing software deployments;
  • Basic web-development skills using HTML, CSS, and javaScript
  • Basic understanding of web services: SOAP, WCF, Web-API
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2014 and above
    • Database Design
    • T-SQL programming – creating Functions and Stored Procedures
    • Reporting: (SSRS), Crystal Reports
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
