Support Service Specialist

Our committed and well-trained workforce professionals deliver comprehensive workforce solutions at integrated career centers, sector-focused centers and community, and partner sites.

• Support participants with daily needs and program engagement.
• Monitor the facility and promote a safe, welcoming environment.
• Document participant interactions and program activities.
• Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution when needed.
• Coordinate with staff and community partners to support participant success.
• Uphold program policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Adhere to and participate in the Company''s Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy practices and Business Ethics and Compliance programs.
• Attend and participate in staff training and professional development activities and complete continuing education requirements as applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrated effective and professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and data entry systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and function effectively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive, professional working relationships with participants, staff, community partners, and stakeholders.
• Experience working in a 24-hour care facility, shelter, supportive housing, residential treatment, or similar environment.
• Familiarity with the communities being served, including knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA, ethical, and professional standards.
