Position Overview:
  • Provide support services to the mailroom and maintenance departments of the company headquarters.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the mailroom Support Services Lead.
  • Receive, sort and distribute internal and external mail.
  • Manage outbound mail and packages requests.
  • Operate various pieces of mailroom equipment or machines.
  • Provide backup and cross-functional work for members of the mailroom team.
  • Provide messenger services by making hand deliveries and pick-ups for executives or external parties, including Post Office, Bank Deposits and Bill Deliveries.
  • Provide support to the building maintenance supervisor.
  • Assist with management of stored materials including furniture.
  • Support internal relocation of staff members.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of event furniture and equipment.
  • Support emergent work.

Skills:
  • Ability to take direction and collaborate with other team members.
  • Ability to deliver a high level of Customer Service within desired schedules.
  • Good communication skills.
  • General knowledge of mailroom operations and equipment / machines.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and ability to learn the use of new software.
