The right candidate will have:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably within an MSP environment
Strong knowledge of computer systems, networking and troubleshooting methodologies
Familiarity with RMM tools, Professional Services Automation software, and remote support technologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Customer-focused with a commitment to providing high quality support
Our Support Specialist will:
Provide remote technical support to clients, addressing hardware, software, and network issues
Monitor and manage client IT environments using remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools
Respond to support tickets and service requests in a timely and professional manner
Perform routine maintenance and updates on client systems to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, escalating to higher-level support when necessary
Assist with the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software solutions
Maintain detailed documentation of client environments, support activities, and issue resolutions
Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement best practices for IT support
Stay currently with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT support and managed services
