Galaxy Vets is looking for a Support Staff Manager to lead our incredible team of Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants. What You'll Do

As our Support Staff Manager, you'll wear two important hats: clinical leader and people leader. This is a hands-on leadership role—you'll continue working on the hospital floor alongside your team for approximately 30 hours each week, providing patient care, supporting workflows, mentoring staff in real time, and stepping in wherever you're needed. Outside of your clinical shifts, you'll focus on leading, developing, and growing our support staff team.

• Create efficient schedules that keep our hospital running smoothly
• Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new team members
• Provide coaching, feedback, and performance development

• Partner with doctors and leadership to improve workflow and patient care
• Ensure operational excellence while maintaining exceptional patient and client care

Qualifications

Required

• Veterinary Technician (preferred) or an experienced Veterinary Assistant
• Strong clinical veterinary experience
• Leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable
