Job Overview

As a part of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the computer/docking station refresh project. Your day-to-day tasks will include imaging, replacing computers, and migrating data. You'll work alongside a team of experts, including a subject matter expert and a project manager, to ensure seamless operations. While Windows 11 technical support experience is a plus, it is not mandatory.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience handling multiple tasks, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of personal computers, components, printers, and microcomputers.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a professional environment.
• Experience in maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems and peripherals.
• Capability to provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to lift and relocate 30 lbs.
• Experience using WordPerfect, MS Office Suite, and knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
• Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent.

Preferences

• Experience with Windows 11 technical support.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays. The primary work location is the William P. Clements State Office Building in Austin, TX. This position requires on-site work, with potential for overtime during weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. All travel and living expenses are the responsibility of the candidate or vendor.

This contract begins on October 26, 2026, and ends on August 31, 2027, with the possibility of renewal.
