Supv Security and Parking

Overview

Coordinates the day-to-day operations for the Safety, Security, & Parking department, to include scheduling, counseling, and disciplining of assigned personnel while ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:Education/Certification:High School diploma or GED required. Prefer degree in law, law enforcement or business related field from an accredited college or university. Must have the following within initial 90 days of employment:

• Heart Saver CPR certification
• Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification

Experience:Minimum of two (2-3) years supervisory in a comparable security, parking, or customer service operation. Must possess a driver''s license and be insurable by HH standards. Experience in health care setting preferred.Additional Skills/Abilities:Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Excellent customer service and communication skills needed with the ability to enforce policies in an assertive, yet courteous manner. Must possess some computer skills with ability to use word processing and spreadsheet applications.
