As Surety Bonds Producer, you'll own the development of a contractor and project-focused bonding book, supported by mentorship, training, and a highly lucrative commission structure that runs double the typical P&C rate. Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new surety and bonding relationships across the greater Philadelphia/Wayne market
- Build a book of business focused on contractors, developers, and project-based clients requiring bid, performance, and payment bonds
- Collaborate with leadership on carrier strategy and program development
- Leverage financial acumen to analyze client financials and structure bonding capacity
- Mentor under experienced surety leadership with direct coaching and market access
Ideal Candidate
- Background in surety underwriting, banking, accounting/finance, or surety brokerage (preferred)
- Understanding of contractor financials, balance sheets, and bonding capacity analysis
- Hunter mentality with ability to self-source new business
- Active P&C license (or willingness to obtain)
- Located within 25–30 miles of Wayne, PA
Compensation
- Base salary + commission
- Commission: 25–40% on surety/bonding placements (approximately 2x standard P&C commission)
