Seeking experienced professional to oversee the Commercial Surety department and staff, including strategy development and implementation.
Activities:
• Proactively manage book of business including monitoring loss activity and trends in the market segment.
• Assure that policy accounts are underwritten according to market segment strategies and guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Regional Vice President to develop market segment strategy.
• Develop and implement long and short term territorial plans to achieve budget objectives.
• Anticipate resource needs and allocate financial and human resources in support of strategy.
• Develop and maintain agent, broker and client relationships to support implementation of strategy.
• Identify and capture new business opportunities and effectively cross sell Bond market segment and other products.
• Attract and retain highly skilled people.
• Set high standards of performance, evaluate performance effectively, provide timely candid feedback, and make compensation decisions.
