Surety Underwriting Asst I

Description

This is a hybrid position. Candidates within 50 miles of select offices are expected in-office 2 days/Week

Responsibilities:

• Provides surety underwriting support and technical administrative assistance to underwriters, management, and other staff.
• Performs duties associated with bond issuance and/or agency change, processing activities in Surety/corporate systems, and file maintenance.
• Provides exceptional customer service and support to internal/external customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year related experience required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to correspond with office personnel and agents.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Demonstrates ability to work well on a team and independently.
• Good organizational skills.
• Competent and proficient with computer software applications utilized by Surety. Knowledge of surety bond processing preferred

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
