Job Description:

Surface Device Concierge Sales Specialist

Remote

$26.00 / hr

Role Overview

This role serves as a seller for a defined portfolio of high potential customers, with end to end accountability for driving surface commercial revenue within their territory. The individual is responsible for protecting existing revenue, accelerating growth, and acquiring new customers across their assigned account set.

The role combines proactive and reactive sales motions, engaging directly with customers and partners to identify opportunities, nurture demand, and close deals. In parallel, this person will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives such as the emerging Agentic AI sales programs. The focus spans seller enablement, partner engagement, onboarding frameworks, and operational process design which ultimately is aimed at driving consistent YoY surface revenue growth and improving customer experience across the managed portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Own Customer Revenue & Portfolio Growth

  • Act as the Microsoft Surface seller for assigned SMEC Corp + SMB accounts
  • Protect, grow, and acquire customer revenue across the portfolio
  • Drive YoY Surface revenue performance through active account management
  • Build direct relationships with customers and influence buying decisions

Drive End-to-End Deal Execution

  • Own opportunities from discovery close
  • Orchestrate across partners, pricing, and internal teams
  • Ensure deals are unblocked and accelerated using programs/incentives
  • Provide "white-glove" concierge support for high-value deals

Generate & Scale Pipeline (Proactive + Reactive)

  • Reactive: Support partner/customer-led opportunities
  • Proactive: Identify, pursue, and create new demand within account set
  • Run outreach campaigns to uncover net-new opportunities
  • Expand into "dark" or underpenetrated Surface accounts

Partner & Ecosystem Orchestration

  • Act as quarterback between Microsoft, partners, and customer
  • Enable partners with deal support, programs (ECIF, incentives), and guidance
  • Ensure seamless co-sell execution and lead routing
  • Align partner/customer engagement strategy for each deal

Deliver Scalable Sales Motion & Insights

  • Feed learnings back into SDC playbooks, programs, and incentives
  • Track and manage pipeline, reporting, and performance metrics
  • Support evolution of tele sales + AI-driven selling models
  • Identify gaps in current sales motion and drive improvements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a subject matter expert and a point of escalation for the client.
  • Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
  • Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates.
  • Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
  • Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
  • Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients and attending trade shows and conferences.
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices and sales.

  • Expert knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or equivalent training required.
  • 10+ years experience required.
