Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator Location: Oldsmar, FL (34677) Job ID: #72558 Pay Range: $22-24 Pay based on experience Education & Experience: 1st Shift - Mon-Thurs 500am - 330pm some OT on FRIs or SATs Open to US Citizens THE COMPANY - Work with one of the Largest American Owned Aerospace & Defense Companies.
Operates through-hole or surface mount technology (SMT) automatic assembly equipment to produce high quality complex printed circuit board assemblies.
Responsible for set-up, operations and routine maintenance.
Manually or using semi-automatic equipment screen print solder paste.
Operate adhesive dispensing equipment. Loads components supplied in tubes or reels onto feeders, and loads feeders onto placement equipment.
May hand place some SMT components. Place assembled printed circuit boards into solder reflow ovens.
May use standard electronic hand tools (solder, flux and adhesive). Utilize drawings, visual aides and other instructions to identify defects.
Required skills: - Ability read and understand Mil-Specifications and Electronics schematics - Mechanical Assembly Other Skills are a plus: - SMT knowledge is a plus - AOI & Visual Defect identification a plus
Shift hours are Mon-Thurs 5 AM-3:30 PM EST
Candidate must be able to read/write English
Candidate must take and pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide
