Responsibilities
- Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
- Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed.
- Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests questions verbally and clearly.
- Accurately write down guests orders and enter into POS system, in a timely manner.
- Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner.
- Ability to assess guests demeanor and identify when to summon a Manager.
- Collect guests payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner.
- Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework.
- Restock and maintain restroom cleanliness for guests.
Qualifications
- Can physically stand/walk 100% of shift.
- Can reach, bend, stoop frequently.
- Able to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to speak, read and write English.
- Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc.
- Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigans and Florida statutes.
- Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigans and Florida statutes.
