What You’ll Do

• Provide specialized care for adult patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery, including support before, during, and after procedures
• Assist with urgent surgeries, including vein harvesting and critical perioperative tasks
• Collaborate with the surgical team and APP staff to support high-acuity cases
• Manage patient documentation and coordinate care using EPIC EMR system
• Provide 24-hour call coverage for cardiac surgery patients, including rounding and callbacks as needed
• Support transfer decisions from ICU to home and participate in postoperative care management

What You Need
Required:

• PA License and DEA registration
• Minimum of 3 years experience in cardiothoracic or related surgical care
• Ability to provide night-time, 24-hour call coverage
• Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures and patient management

Preferred:

• Experience supporting urgent cardiac surgeries and post-op care
• Ability to handle vein harvesting procedures
• Excellent collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment
