What You’ll Do:

• Assist in adult cardiothoracic surgeries, including CABG, valve repairs, aortic surgeries, and emergent dissections
• Support surgical procedures such as sternotomies, endoscopic vein harvesting, and implantations of mechanical circulatory support
• Collaborate with a team of cardiac surgeons and intensivists in a busy academic hospital environment
• Participate in preoperative and postoperative patient care
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure adherence to safety protocols throughout surgical procedures
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management

What You Need:

• Active Missouri license; BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of independent adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience
• Board certification in specialty (preferred)
• Strong skills in adult cardiac surgery procedures and team collaboration
