What You’ll Do

• Provide first assist support in adult cardiac surgeries including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and ascending aortic procedures
• Assist with procedures such as sternotomies, chest tube, and pacing wire placements
• Support mechanical circulatory support procedures including Impella, ECMO cannulation, and IABP exposure
• Participate in endoscopic vein harvesting and other perioperative activities
• Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and OR staff to ensure patient safety and procedural success
• Document procedures accurately in Epic EMR system

What You Need
Required:

• Missouri RN license
• Board certification in relevant specialty
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of independent adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience

Preferred:

• RNFA certification
