Experience: Minimum 2 years, prior CVOR experience as first assist in cardiac surgery required

What Youll Do
Support cardiothoracic surgeons in complex procedures, including aortic dissection repairs and other adult cardiac surgeries
Assist as a first responder in the operating room, ensuring procedural accuracy and patient safety
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including RNs and surgeons, to deliver optimal patient care
Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation
Work with advanced equipment, including robotic surgical tools
Participate in on-call coverage (approximately 1:5) for emergent surgical needs
Maintain compliance with all licensing and credentialing requirements
What You Need
WI State License or eligibility to obtain licensure
Certified as a Physician Assistant with at least 2 years of relevant CVOR experience
Ability to serve as a first assist in adult cardiac surgeries, including aortic dissections
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
DEA registration
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
