Join Our Team as a General Surgery Physician Make a Difference in Patient Care!
Are you a dedicated and highly skilled general surgeon looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise? We are seeking a competent and compassionate Surgery - General physician to provide exceptional surgical services in a dynamic healthcare environment. What You'll Bring:
- Valid and current North Carolina Medical License and NC DEA registration
- Active Board Certification in General Surgery
- Proven experience in bread and butter procedures such as hernia repair, cholecystectomy, breast surgery, and abscess drainage
- Proficiency in endoscopy (EGD and colonoscopy), appendectomy, and small bowel and colon surgeries
- Clean background with no recent or open malpractice or disciplinary issues
- NPI number and Medicare/Medicaid enrollment with PECOS
- Ability to be within 20 minutes of the facility during on-call shifts
Additional Skills That Are a Plus:
- Experience with hospital EMR systems, preferably Meditech 6.1
- Prior military service or military credentials
- Previous assignment with our agency and full credentialing status
- Willingness to commit to 4 hours of gratis time daily (preferably in bulk)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of [insert preferred years] years of surgical experience

- Ability to handle 24-hour call shifts with professionalism and poise
Other Requirements:
- Must be willing to work 24-hour call shifts on scheduled dates, including 7/10/26 to 7/13/26 and 7/24/26 to 7/27/26
- Candidate must have a clean background, and malpractice insurance should be included in the daily rate
- On-site hospital-owned housing provided, with cable and Wi-Fi; travel expenses capped at $500 when applicable
- Must communicate via email for all correspondence, and provider must be credentialed for NC Medicaid and Medicare
