Medical Facilities is looking for Surgery General in TownPark Ln NW Kennesaw, (GA)/Zion Pkwy Jonesboro, (GA)/Steve Reynolds Blvd Duluth, (GA) /Sandy Springs, GA
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Looking for a general surgery locum who is interested in doing clinic visits. Ideally, we would be able to float the locum to any of the MOBs as our need varies depending on who is pulled for call.
Coverage Type:
GS sees ~18 members a day in clinic.
They perform in-office procedures as well as your standard consult/follow up visits.
Procedure visit lengths are 50 minutes and regular appointments are 25.
Their clinic schedule begins at 8:05 and goes to 4:50pm.
Port appointment lengths are 60 minutes.
At most they would be doing 2 half days of ports a week.

This two-day continuing education symposium will center on the nuts and bolts of everyday care for patients with cardiovascular diseases, and present new ideas for tailoring the most appropriate treatment plan for each individual. Focus will be placed on gauging and monitoring therapy, including recognizing symptoms, evaluating risk factors, guiding treatment through imaging, general and functional testing, and appropriate therapy. Unlike most programs, this will be delivered as a case based program. In other words, how would I manage a diabetic patient with these lipid levels? Case examples make the lectures more relevant to everyday practitioners.
