Position Overview:
Maintains scheduling for surgical and specialized procedures for assigned department(s). Breast Surgical Oncology (General Surgery) and cross-trained for covering in other specialty surgery scheduling as needed. Coordinates surgical services with physicians'' offices and other related departments, and may be required to verify room and equipment availability. Responsible for documentation of patients'' procedures and physician information; logs the completed procedures; and may generate a surgical procedure charge sheet. Performs additional duties as requested by the manager while ensuring the accuracy of the schedule.
The person in this Surgery Scheduler III position will also be cross-trained in Plastic Surgery scheduling, as some cases will require coordination between both specialties. They will also float and support Plastic Surgery scheduling, as needed.

Pay Range is $32.39 to $40.48 / hour
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
