Job Summary and Qualifications

 

The Pre-op Screening Specialist participates in high quality, patient-centered care by engaging in individualized and compassionate communications with operative patients. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Pre-op Screening Specialist ensures that the patients are prepared and cleared for surgery via collection of patient information, completion of patient’s medical history, and assembling of the clinical record. The Pre-op Screening Specialist serves as an advocate for patients/families & caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s Mission/Vision/Values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to the overall facility performance. 

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required

1+ years experience in a clinical office setting preferred

We offer orthopedic, ophthalmology, GI, urology, podiatry, plastics and pain management services to the residents of Hillsborough and Pasco counties. We see over 500 cases a month.
