Join Our Team as a Surgery Vascular Nurse Practitioner
Are you a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a passion for vascular surgery and patient care? We are seeking a highly skilled Surgery Vascular Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional clinical support in a dynamic hospital setting. This vital role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives while advancing your professional career.
What You’ll Do:
  • Conduct clinic and hospital rounds, focusing on vascular patients aged 18 and older.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 15 patients daily, including two consults per day.
  • Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons on bypass amputations and other specialized procedures.
  • Utilize EPIC electronic health records to document and coordinate patient care.
  • Participate in both outpatient clinic responsibilities and inpatient hospital rounds.
  • Support a hospital with 150 beds in providing top-tier vascular care.
    This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and compassionate approach to patient treatment within a hospital and clinic environment.

Required Skills:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC or BE) in Vascular Surgery
  • Valid PA license and DEA certification
  • Minimum of 1-year vascular experience (surgical experience preferred but not mandatory)
  • Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience with bypass amputations or similar vascular procedures
  • Knowledge of hospital-based practice settings and outpatient care coordination
  • Additional certifications in vascular or related specialties

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN or higher) from an accredited program
  • Proven experience in vascular surgery or related fields, with a minimum of one year of clinical practice in vascular care

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to start on June 1, 2026, with a credentialing timeframe of approximately 90 days (temporary options available with a clean file)
  • Availability for 5 days per week, 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Willingness to travel or support ongoing hospital and clinic needs as required
