Join Our Team as a Surgery Vascular Nurse Practitioner Elevate Vascular Care!
Are you a dedicated Nurse Practitioner passionate about vascular surgery and committed to delivering exceptional patient care? We are seeking a skilled Surgery Vascular Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team starting June 1, 2026. This pivotal role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a reputable hospital setting, providing specialized vascular care to adult patients.
In this role, you will be integral to both clinic and hospital consults, performing vital procedures such as bypass surgeries and amputations, all within a collaborative environment designed to support your professional growth. You'll work every other Wednesday, managing approximately 15 patients daily, including two consults, in a facility equipped with EPIC EMR and a 150-bed hospital.
Required Skills:
- Board Certified or Eligible (BC or BE) in Vascular Surgery
- Valid PA license
- DEA certification
- Minimum 1 year of vascular experience (surgical experience preferred but not mandatory)
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR
- Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and patient management abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in hospital rounds and outpatient clinics
- Familiarity with complex vascular procedures
- Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Masters degree in Nursing (MSN or equivalent)
- Prior vascular surgical experience in hospital or clinic settings
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Other Requirements:
- Credentialing within approximately 90 days; temporary licenses considered if in good standing
- Willingness to perform procedures such as bypass and amputations
- Flexibility to work day shifts (07:00 17:00)
