Surgical Aide -Full-time Days/Evenings Methuen

POSITION SUMMARY: Surgical Aide Operating Room, Full-time 40 Hours per Week, 10 am to 6:30 pm Methuen campus

As theSurgical Aide, you will be asked to assistwith patient care and sanitation in the Surgical Services Department under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs procedures relating to the basic care of the Surgical Services patient and also technical and ancillary duties related to patient care
• Maintains a clean and safe environment to insure safe and efficient operation of the unit
• Rotating weekend calls from 7am-3:30pm

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Handling weekend calls from 7am to 3:30pm (rotating schedule) is required.
• BLS Required

Preferred:

• At least one year prior OR Attendant experience or other related healthcare experience
