    Pay Range: $65,000–$70,000

    Manhattan Gastroenterology / Midtown Endoscopy & Surgical Center is seeking an experienced, data-driven Surgical & Clinical Access Manager to oversee and optimize clinical and surgical scheduling across the practice and ambulatory surgical center.


    Job requirements

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee clinical and surgical scheduling, provider templates, and surgical blocks.

    • Maximize provider, appointment, procedure, and operating room utilization.

    • Monitor cancellations, no-shows, backfill opportunities, waitlists, and schedule capacity.

    • Identify scheduling gaps, access barriers, and opportunities to improve patient conversion.

    • Develop and monitor scheduling KPIs, reports, and performance dashboards.

    • Lead and support scheduling staff, including training, workflow management, and accountability.

    • Partner with physicians, clinical teams, front desk, AfterCare, billing, and administration to improve patient access and operational efficiency.

    • Identify workflow issues and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce unused capacity.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Operations, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

    • 3–5 years of healthcare scheduling, patient access, surgical scheduling, or clinical operations experience.

    • Leadership or management experience preferred.

    • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    • Experience with EHR and scheduling systems required; eClinicalWorks experience preferred.
