The division of Pediatric Epilepsy and Neurology at the University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital is seeking a full-time Surgical Pediatric Epileptologist to join our world-class clinical and academic team. We collaborate very closely with the Adult Epilepsy Center at the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in the areas of epilepsy surgery, education, and research. We are recognized for excellence in epilepsy care, particularly in epilepsy surgery, seizure semiology, and epilepsy informatics. Our team is composed of leading experts in the field, all of whom hold academic positions at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). In addition, there are exceptional opportunities for research collaboration with CWRU's Neurosciences, School of Medicine, and Biomedical Engineering departments.
The Pediatric Epilepsy Program is committed to advancing clinical, educational, and research initiatives, and we are looking for an individual who will contribute to the growth and development of these programs. The epileptologist will participate in the nationally recognized Epilepsy Fellowship Program at UH CMC, with five ACGME-accredited fellowship positions each year, Postdoctoral Epilepsy Scholarship Program (5-10 international physicians), and Child Neurology Training Program. Additionally, the pediatric epileptologist will participate as an instructor at the UH CMC Adult Epilepsy Center-hosted, biennial International EEG/Epilepsy Course, and as a speaker at the Epilepsy Grand Rounds yearly.
