Registered Veterinary Technician – Surgery

Are you a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician with a passion for surgery and advanced patient care? This position is ideal for an RVT who thrives in surgery and anesthesia. You will work primarily as a surgery technician, assisting with a wide range of procedures and ensuring patients receive the highest level of care throughout the perioperative process.

This can be a Full or Part-Time position, with availability needed Monday-Friday & rotating Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities

• Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Surgical preparation and assisting in advanced procedures
• Patient assessment and perioperative care
• Collaborating with veterinarians and team members to ensure optimal outcomes

• Compensation: $18-$24/hour, for each hour worked*
• Bonus Package: Up to $2,000, based on experience and licensure
• CE Allowance: $500 for first year & $1000 every year following for RVTs

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Veterinary Technician License in the state of Kansas
• Strong anesthesia and surgical monitoring skills
• Experience assisting in advanced or specialty procedures preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and patient care standards
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
