Surgical Procedure Scheduler
Chesapeake VA
Pay From: $21 Per Hour
MUST:
3+years of medical office experience in a private multi specialty edical office
Recent experience as a procedure or surgical scheduler
Ensuring physicians schedules are full
Responding to patient's emails
Calling patients back from voicemail messages
Reviewing prep instructions prior to procedures with patients
Ensuring that all reports and labs are updated in patient's medical records prior to procedures
Detailed with strong documentation skills
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
DUTIES:
The Medical Receptionist duties include but are not limited to the following:
Schedule procedure appointments
Return patient phone calls and respond to portal emails
Review detailed prep instructions with patients prior to procedures
Confirm that patient's medical records are updated with labs and required reports
Enter patient information into EMR
Provide customer service support
Assist patients as needed
