• Delivering patient consent for surgery to the surgical department
• Contacting hospital or surgery center to make reservations for patient's surgery based on physicians specifications
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Obtain all necessary consents prior to surgery
• Verify insurance and send to surgery information to billing
• Maintain records and prepare reports related to surgery schedule
• Coordinating and scheduling patient surgery appointments for all physicians at the clinic site
• Derive medical history and previous surgery information
• Obtain surgery medical clearances and enter information into patient chart
