Surgical Scrub Tech-Part Time St. Lukes Cataract & Laser Institute is seeking a part-time Surgical Scrub Tech to work out of our Tarpon Springs location.

About the Position
St. Lukes Surgical Center performs multi-subspecialty ophthalmic surgery. The surgical scrub technicians role and responsibility is to provide necessary and appropriate equipment, instruments, and supplies during ophthalmic surgery with the surgeon, nurses, and staff. As an instrument technician, the role is to clean and sterilize instruments in accordance with AAMI standards.

- Ability to work in and overseeing our sterile processing department
- Self-motivation, patient focus, with strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment with patients, physicians, and staff
Job Skill & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency is required
- A minimum of one year of experience as a surgical scrub technician in an operating room is preferred
- Experience in the cleaning and sterilization of instruments preferred
- Must be mobile in a surgery procedure, walking, sitting, standing, bending, and stretching
- Perform general duties and other functions as required or assigned
