Surgical Scrub Tech-PRN St. Lukes Surgical Center is looking to hire a PRN Surgical Scrub Tech to join our team at The Villages location. Experience preferred.

Job Description Reporting to the OR Supervisor, the surgical scrub technicians role and responsibility is to provide necessary and appropriate equipment, instruments, and supplies during surgery with the surgeon, nurses, and staff. To clean and sterilize instruments in accordance with AAMI standards.

The ideal candidate must be able to work under pressure in an ever-changing environment. Your primary position will be working at the sterile field as a Scrub Technician in a fast-paced environment. We require self-motivated patient-focused individuals with strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment with patients, physicians, and staff.

Qualifications Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalency is required • Minimum of one year of experience as a surgical scrub technician in an operating room required • Previous Cataract Surgery experience is a plus • Experience in the cleaning and sterilization of instruments required • Must be mobile in a surgery procedure, walking, sitting, standing, bending, and stretching • Perform general duties and other functions as required or assigned
