Surgical Services - Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Typically you only get 2 late shifts per week. Weekday call shift would be once per week. You would work the 9a-7p shift then be on call from 7p-7a and be scheduled off the next day. Weekend call would be once per schedule, Sat and Sun. 7a-7p or Sat and Sun 7p-7a. We do our schedules 6 weeks at a time. Call is from home as long as you can get here in 30 minutes. If you ever wanted to stay at the hospital while on call, arrangements for that can be made. When you come in at 9am, some of the responsibilities are giving breaks and lunches, helping with turnovers, set up rooms for following day, stocking, etc. until you go into a room at 2:45pm. Parking is free. We do General, Robotics, Laparoscopic, Bariatrics, Urology, Gyne, Ortho and Vascular surgeries. We have 9 OR rooms and 1 cysto room. We offer morning and afternoon breaks and a 30minute lunch. You may be asked to go to one of our other hospitals, but it is rare.
