• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $55.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 3x12 Hours 11:00 23:30; Manager will discuss shift options during phone interview. Weekend requirements will also be discussed during interview. On-call requirements will be discussed during interview.
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs for 3x12's 40 hrs for 8/10's
• Travel Requirements: Floating required to sister facilities. Clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a CVOR Surgical Tech travel/contract position working the 11:00 23:30 shift with cardiac call required. The clinician will primarily support cardiac OR cases and will perform other surgical cases when no cardiac cases are scheduled. Strong Vascular and CVOR experience is required, and the role involves cardiac call on a variable schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub on cardiac OR cases in the CVOR setting
• Perform other surgical cases when no CVOR cases are scheduled
• Must be able to review facility setup and immediately begin cardiac call upon assignment start
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities
• Complete time-sensitive onboarding/compliance modules these must be prioritized immediately upon confirmation of assignment
• Fulfill cardiac call requirements, which vary monthly:

- Approximately 6 call shifts minimum per month (varies depending on number of staff available to fill slots) - 1 per weekday and 2 weekend shifts; weekends are 24-hour shifts - May be up to 10 call shifts per month if short-staffed; facility works to stay staffed close to the minimum

Required Skills

• Strong Surgical Tech experience
• Strong Vascular and CVOR experience
• Ability to perform cardiac call
• Ability to scrub other surgical cases if no CVOR cases are scheduled
• BLS required

Preferred Skills

• 2 years of Surgical Tech/CVOR experience preferred
• 3 years of experience strongly preferred
• NBSTSA and/or NCCT national certification preferred (not required)

Education Requirements

• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA and/or NCCT national certification preferred not required
• Pending license not accepted

Required Experience

• 18 months of Surgical Tech experience required (minimum)
• Strong CVOR and Vascular experience required

Nice-to-Have Experience

• 2 years of experience preferred
• 3 years of experience strongly preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
