- Cleaning and care of various scopes and instruments, including but not limited to:
- Bronchoscopes
- Colonoscopes
- EGD scopes
- Endobronchial Ultrasound Scopes (EBUS)
- Endoscopic Ultrasound Scopes (EUS)
- Enteroscopes
- ERCP Scopes
- Fiber Optics
- Flex Sigmoidoscopes
- Performing high-level disinfection (HLD) in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient endoscopy centers.
- Managing room turnover and ensuring the efficient processing and cleaning of instruments.
Professional Topics and Skills
- Expertise in sterilization and disinfection techniques.
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques.
Qualifications
- Possession of a state license in California.
- Certification as a CNA or SGNA is required.
