Position / Specialty: OR Tech / Surgical Tech Shift: 3x12s Days 0630-1900, call, and 1 holiday. Acute Critical Care Services (ACCS), Orthopedics, Ortho Oncology, Joint Replacements, General Surgery, Plastics, and Trauma.Rooms: 20 Avg daily census: 50+ cases a day Certifications required: BLS and ACLS Is on-call REQ? Yes Call- is 1900-0700 weekday and 0700-1900/1900-0700 weekends Response time- 40 minutes Due to staffing- 5-6 call shifts in a 6 week period. Working after call- If on call after midnight team member is given up to 8 hours of rest time. Team member (due to daily staffing) can get called in to provide breaks or lunches or shift relief. Ex: (regular next day shift 0630-1900) If you worked on call until 2-3am, home to rest until you could potentially be called in to provide lunches at 11-12 and kept until 1900! We try our best to prevent this as much as possible. We have in-house staff for nights and weekends, which includes a consistent Charge RN in addition to the 2 team members that are on-call. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? To other OR's for staffing census Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No Open to accommodating block schedule? No First-timers accepted: No unless over 3 years of OR experience and strong in Orthopedics Weekend REQ: 1 Holiday if it falls during contract time. Locals accepted: No 75 mile radius RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days within 13 week contract Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned Trauma Level I Experience Required
