Job Summary:
Provides specialized CVOR surgical technologist support by preparing the operative field, scrubbing complex cardiovascular procedures, and assisting the surgical team throughout surgery.
Responsibilities:
Prepare CVOR suites, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies required for cardiovascular surgical procedures
Perform first and second scrub duties, anticipate surgical needs, pass instruments, and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
Assist with patient positioning, surgical counts, room turnover, and post-procedure case cleanup according to department standards
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
NBSTSA Certification
Experience:
Two (2) years of CVOR Surgical Technologist experience required
First and second scrub experience required
Travel experience required
