Job Title: Surgical Technologist – Operating Room Support

Overview:
Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Surgical Technologist, where your expertise directly contributes to patient care and surgical success. In this vital role, you'll support surgeons and medical staff by preparing and maintaining surgical equipment, assisting in procedures, and ensuring a sterile environment. Your professionalism and technical skills will help uphold the highest standards of safety and efficacy in the operating room.

Pay: $1,650 Weekly
Shift: 6:30am - 3pm

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate from an accepted surgical technology certification program
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a specialized surgical setting
• Certification in Surgical Technology (CST)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management
• Good judgment and decision-making abilities
• Ability to assist in procedures competently and professionally
• Knowledge of equipment handling, disinfection, and quality control measures
• Adaptability to changing environments and procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Prior experience working with endoscopes and other surgical instruments
• Experience in a high-volume or specialized surgical department

Other Requirements:

• Ability to exert physical effort, including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Exposure to blood, body fluids, tissue, and potentially hazardous materials
• Work in a patient care environment with occupational risks related to communicable diseases and hazardous waste
• Must be willing to work in a healthcare setting with potential exposure to infectious and hazardous materials
• Certifications in surgical technology and BLS are required; additional licenses or certifications are not specified
