Description

The Surgical Technologist is an active member of the Operating Room Team in providing quality surgical patient care, assisting in the maintenance of safe and aseptic surgical environment and observing and teaching other surgical team members in proper surgical technique. Reports to department manager or assistant nurse manager.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program. Or Completion of a training program in a branch of the armed forces or in the Public Health Service Commissioned Corp. Or work experience even if education is from a non-accredited surgical technologist program.
  • Upon hire: Washington Surgical Technologist Registration
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year Current experience as a surgical technologist.
  • 2 years OR surgical technologist experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
