Job Title: Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech)

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Evening Shift, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 5x8s

Pay Range: $44 to $48 per hour
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Arroyo Grande, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and operating room protocols. Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
Assist the surgical team during procedures by anticipating needs and passing instruments.
Maintain a sterile field and enforce infection control standards.
Monitor equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
Handle specimens appropriately and assist with documentation as required.
Conduct sponge, needle, and instrument counts before and after procedures.
Support post-operative clean-up and room turnover.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist.
Completion of an accredited Surgical Tech program.
Current BLS certification (required).
CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of operating room procedures and sterile technique.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
