Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical technology within a specialized setting
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Recent experience in Neuro and Thoracic surgeries
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Ability to effectively collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other team members
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience operating DaVinci XI robotic systems
- Additional certifications or specialized training in neuro or thoracic procedures
- Bilingual abilities or strong communication skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
- Prior experience in high-volume surgical units
- Experience in hospital environments with open 24/7 operations
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work a schedule from Monday to Friday, 10:45am-11:15pm
- Ability to travel or relocate as needed within 50 miles of the Atlanta area
- Commitment to maintaining current licensure and certifications
- Flexibility to adapt to varying case volumes and case types
