Manager needs a candidate that can start ASAP or no later than 7/27/26

o Licensed for 457 beds
o Level 3 Trauma
o Stroke center of Excellence
o Bariatric center of Excellence
o Chest Pain Center
o Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
Department Information:
o 19 OR suites 17 rooms are blocked

Advanced Spine Surgery Certification
o Avg 50 Cases per day
o Minimum Years of Experience required? 5 Years
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? No
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o Surgery specialties include, Trauma, ortho trauma, ortho total joints, spine, hearts, MI vascular, GYN, GYN-Oncology, Robotics (we have three), General, HPB, Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Eyes, Pain, Plastics
Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
o Surg Tech: BLS and Certification preferred but not required
Skills required:
o Experience to scrub in the following cases: Trauma, ortho trauma, ortho total joints, spine, hearts, MI vascular, GYN, GYN-Oncology, Robotics (we have three), General, HPB, Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Eyes, Pain, Plastics
o Sterile Technique
Support within the Department:
o Service Line Clinical Supervisors, Charge nurses, Educators, ORAs, Unit Secretaries, Tech Engineers
Technology/Equipment:
o EMR: EPIC
o Department specific Equipment: various in multiples
Floating: If yes, where?
o No
Orientation (facility and unit):
o NEO
o 2 days departmental
Scheduling:
o Weekend rotation: every 4th weekend
Weekend coverage could be in the form of call or a scheduled shift depending on the need. Scheduled shifts are 7a-7p typically. Call is either 7a-7p or 7p-7a
o Call required: Average of 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule
45-minute response time
11p-7a or 7a-7p/7p-7a on weekends
o Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
o RTO: Manager approval
o Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
