Day to day as a Surgical Technologist

Requirements for this Surgical Technologist job

To excel as a Full-Time Surgical Technologist at Southwest Health System, Inc., you will need a blend of technical and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

Regulatory Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong experience with minimally invasive, general surgery, ENT, orthopedics, vascular, and podiatric specialties including video orthopedic and all other needed equipment to do the above surgeries.
• 2 years operating room experience preferred.
• BLS
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• Current state Surgical Technologist Licensurewithin state of Colorado.

Language Skills:

• Able to communicate effectively in English
• both verbally and in writing.
• Additional languages preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Skills:

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong communication skills.
