Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a surgical setting, with specialization in GYN, plastics, and prostate biopsies.
- Proven proficiency with surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and aseptic protocols.
- Valid AHA BLS certification and NBSTA or NCC certification.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in outpatient surgery centers.
- Additional certifications or training in advanced surgical procedures.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential.
- At least 2 years of recent relevant surgical technologist experience, preferably within specialized fields such as GYN, plastics, or prostate biopsies.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work the schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Willingness to work at Northside Hospital Forsyth Outpatient Surgery Center in Cumming, Georgia.
- Must be currently licensed/certified as required and maintaining compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations.
- No local candidates within 50 miles preferred.
