Job Description
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a high-volume surgical unit specializing in Neuro, Thoracic, Orthopedic, Urology, and General Surgery procedures. The ideal candidate will have recent Neuro and Thoracic surgical experience and thrive in a fast-paced operating room environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments
- Assist surgeons during operative procedures
- Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment during cases
- Support Neuro, Thoracic, Orthopedic, Urology, and General Surgery procedures
- Ensure proper sterile technique and infection prevention standards
- Prepare operating rooms before and after procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, RNs, and anesthesia teams during surgeries
- Document surgical counts and procedural support accurately
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience
- Recent Neuro and Thoracic surgery experience required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Strong understanding of sterile processing and surgical instrumentation
- Ability to work in a high-volume surgical setting
