Location: Saranac Lake, New York, 12983
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 06/08/2026 – 09/06/2026
Shift: Varying Shift | Mon – Fri | 10 Hour Day Shifts | 40 Hours/Week
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience required
Must be Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Must have Orthopedic surgery experience
Vascular experience highly preferred
Candidates must be comfortable taking call and scrubbing vascular procedures
75-mile radius rule applies
Local candidates accepted (local pay package applicable)
Role Overview:
The Operating Room Surgical Technologist is an integral member of the multidisciplinary surgical team. The Surgical Technologist acts as a scrub person and is responsible for preparing and handling instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgical procedures.
The ideal candidate will:
Anticipate the needs of the surgeon during procedures
Maintain sterile technique throughout operations
Collaborate effectively with nurses and surgical staff
Support quality patient care during operative procedures
Function under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
Participate in the on-call schedule for urgent/emergent surgical cases as required
