Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring a Surgical Technologist in Seattle, Washington! This is an on-site, full-time opportunity supporting a busy surgical team in an outpatient surgical setting. Apply with a current resume for consideration. Pay: $31.00 to $33.50 per hour Type: Full-Time Schedule: 4 days per week | 10-hour shifts Hours: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM (day off during the week may vary) Location: Seattle, WA 98104 Primary Responsibilities: - Work closely with the surgical team to ensure quality patient care throughout surgical procedures - Assist Surgeons by preparing and maintaining surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment - Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and proper use of instrumentation and sterile technique - Follow strict aseptic techniques during procedures and equipment processing - Assist in the assessment, planning, and implementation of care for surgical patients - Maintain compliance with health and safety policies, regulatory requirements, and departmental protocols - Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to Universal Precautions and HIPAA standards - Support quality improvement initiatives and provide courteous, responsive assistance to patients and staff - Use judgment in seeking consultation from circulating Nurses and additional clinical staff as needed - Maintain composure and initiate emergency care procedures when appropriate according to ACLS guidelines - Assist with selection and preparation of supplies, instrumentation, and equipment needed for procedures - Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program required - Current Surgical Technologist registration in the State of Washington required - Current AHA BLS Certification required - Prior Surgical Tech experience preferred in orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, urology, or ENT - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment Why work for Adecco? - Weekly Pay - 401(k) Plan - Skills Training - Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
