Job Title: Surgical Technologist/Technician

Duration: 13-week contract
Shift Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM or 3:00 PM 11:30 PM; Intermittent on-call (evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed)
How many shifts needed per month: Intermittent on-call 14 17 times a month, in addition to regular scheduled shifts
Credentialing/Onboarding time: 6 8 weeks
License: Any state license works (Certified Surgical Technologist)
Certifications: Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross)
Education: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Experience needed: 2 3 years of current acute care hospital Operating Room experience
Special Skills needed: Proficiency in both scrub and circulating roles in the OR
Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain sterile field for surgical procedures; pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during operations; assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping; maintain accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies throughout procedures.
